These terms govern your use of the Clause Check website and contract-review service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
We provide an AI-assisted review of a physician employment agreement, including flagged clauses, financial context, and suggested counter-language, typically returned within 24 hours for a flat fee. Turnaround is a target, not a guarantee, and may vary with volume or file quality.
Not legal advice
The service is analysis and drafting support. It is not legal advice, does not create an attorney-client relationship, and is not a substitute for a licensed attorney in your state. You remain responsible for how you use the report.
Your responsibilities
You confirm that you have the right to upload the contract, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you will not use the service for any unlawful purpose. You should not upload documents that contain information you are not authorized to share.
Fees and refunds
The stated fee is due when you submit a review. If we cannot process your file, we will say so and refund the fee. Once a completed report is delivered, fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
Acceptable use
You may not reverse engineer the service, overload our systems, resell reports, or submit content that is illegal or infringing. We may refuse or suspend a request that appears abusive or incomplete.
Intellectual property
The site, product, and report format are owned by us or our licensors. You keep ownership of your contract. We receive a limited license to process that file in order to deliver your review.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided as-is. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for lost wages, failed negotiations, or other indirect damages, and our total liability for a review is limited to the fee you paid for that review.
